OK, so he USED to be the strongest man, and was 104 years old, but still... it's a funny headline.

The latest news is that Joe Rollino New York’s strong man died after he was hit by a car as he was crossing a street near his Brooklym home. He was admitted to a hospital where he died. He was 104 years of age. He sustained chest and head injuries along with a broken pelvis.

Joe weighed 68kgs at his career’s peak and was considered one of the strongest men for his size. He was a vegetarian and could bend coins between his fingers.

In 1920s he started performing as a strong man and was a part of the Oldetime Barbell and Strongmen organisation. Later, he was a travelling boxer and made his living under the name Kid Dundee.

He was also known as Great Joe Rollino. He had once lifted a whooping 3200lb.

Police said that when Joe died neither was it related to speeding nor alcohol.
The country and world has lost one of the strongest man, who had humble confidence and great strength.

I just have a picture of him with a big oiled mustache carrying barbells that are just round weights on the sides and triangular pyrimid weights.

He was 104...

I'm pretty sure if you catch any kind of disease at that age it doesn't get drawn out too long.

He should have gone out duking it out with that wrestler who had dementia, that would have been the battle of the century
