So I have a hammer storage more space usb external hard drive of 1 terabyte, well it isn't mine, but I plug it to my computer and it was all cool and dandy, I started copying a folder and it said that it was going to last 30 minutes, so I went to eat some burguer bitches, when I came back there was an error that said that the file "blablabla" couldn't copy, so I press ok, and automatically the hard drive like stopped working.
So I unplug it I restart the computer and tried againd, this hard drive connects to the comp via usb and have like a plug to the wall for something like a fan I believe, the light that It haves doesn't turn on anymore, but the fan makes sounds, like it's working, but the comp doesn't recognize it anymore, I plugged it to my laptop and it didn't worked either, I tried several others computers with the same results.
Am I proper fucked?
Please help.

Remove the external casing, try to connect it directly to your CPU (IDE/SATA). See if that works or not.

I'd go for qnap/thecus/buffalo 2-4 drive NAS-station, if you want to re-use the drive that is. They usually sell external usb-drives with the disk. RAID1 will save your pr0n eventually.

My friend got ubber pissed off and he said he will take care of that shit, so, it's no longer my problem, but I appreciate your help dude, also it was easier to remove my old hard drive plug it to my new comp, and from there copy paste what I wanted, I guess it was my own fault for being so mexican about it.
Good people take care.

The Asus Enclosures are my favorite. I worked at a box store for a bit, this was pretty common.
