Anyone else routinely go and dig up old games to play? Currently going through Call of Duty1, Fallout 2 and Homeworld. Oldies are goodies biggrin.gif
rick
I can play an Atari game for hours on end.

It's sad to think that 'old' games are from less than 5 years ago...

I feel old now.

If its this millennium, its not old

You're not old. The examples given were blasphemous. I have my Nintendo hooked up here in the office, so it gets regular play. I've never cared about graphics and fancy crap, its all about the fun of the game.

I hit Fallout Tactics and Fallout 2 earlier this week when I couldn't find the DVD for Mask of the Betrayer. Then I thought of BG/BG2/TotSC/ID/etc, they tend to dislike Vista though.

My Centurion came in today, so hopefully misplaced game CDs/DVDs are a thing of the past.

I've been thinking on pulling out Diablo 2 to play through with expansion, or Diablo 1 with Hellfire. I will pull out Starcraft/Warcraft to play sometimes.

We used to play Clue on the TV. Does that count?
Michael
I still play Neverwinter Nights.

It's not super old but for a game released in 2002 it still has quite a following.

X-Com: UFO Defense is my all time favorite oldie. I actually just started it back up a few weeks ago.

Final Fantasy Tactics (now on psp)

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (psp now as well)

and Counterstrike 1.6 once in a while.

Ad Astra

I got Morrowind and two expansions for the PC. Came with the huge book. Anyway, I kept exploring where I guess I shouldn't so ended up breaking some triggers in the game. I thought it was a huge place, but... having to go half way across the world on a simple delivery quest was kind of blah. I also ended up taking the dungeon/caves when I found them, then later got quests to get something from those caves, which either I already had and so it didn't work, or it didn't appear because I was already there.

I ended up giving the game to someone else. I liked Elder Scrolls, but Morrowind seemed a bit aimless.

I still play warcraft 3 / dota from time to time.

SNES Shadowrun. The throwback games top most of todays junk. Blow 60 dollars on a 1080p game that has cinema quality graphics and plays like shit.
mikesisgod

got this on my iphone.

classics, yo.

Scorch(ed Earth) is fun to play on occasion. ( or Worms if you prefer)

I played these as an uberyoungster... Of course I had no idea what the fuck was going on... I just like the pretty lights and little beeps.

Then it was on to Arkanoid.

And I rocked this for a couple years on our XT until I'd beaten it on difficult with zero fuck-ups. Not an easy task.
The Duel: Test Drive II

Then my dad got me the Sega Genesis bundle with Sonic 2. I never bought any more. My love for gaming was dwindling.

And finally, a friend let me have his Playstation when he got an N64. Played Twisted Metal 2 in god-mode (L1/L2 + R1/R2 + Up-Down-Left-Right-Right-Left-Down-Up) for a few weeks until I'd divulged all its secrets.

Then I gave up. Haven't played a game seriously since. Thank God.

I always keep going back to Chrono Trigger. Such a great game.
Wombat
Just finished Night Trap on the Sega last night.
