I never watched this show but I've only heard good things and I might pick up the first season on dvd to see if I like it. I would probably watch the movie on the chance that Kristin Bell would look a just a fraction of how hot she was as Sarah Marshall anyway.

So all you VM fanboys and fangirls you can officially start gossiping.

"Veronica Mars" was one of those many TV shows that was able to find a devoted cult following but was never able to quite catch on with a wide enough audience to stay on air. But like SERENITY, the movie based off the canceled TV series "Firefly," "Veronica Mars" might be making a trip to the big screen. Entertainment Weekly is reporting that series creator Rob Thomas (no relation to the Matchbox 20 singer of the same name) met with star Kristen Bell to discuss the possibility of making VERONICA MARS: THE MOVIE. Thomas told the magazine that he had a meeting with Bell about the movie and has also had a "few conversations" with uber-producer Joel Silver, who also produced the TV show, about a movie. Thomas does caution fans that he's quite busy with two pilots on the way ("Good Behavior" and "Cupid") but that once those have been launched, a VERONICA MARS movie would be his "top priority." Bell is currently filming Season 3 of "Heroes" and she just recently wrapped her first lead role in a film with the Disney romantic comedy WHEN IN ROME.

I think you'll be disappointed.

The show is cliched, not to mention far fetched and boring. It is cute sometimes and Kristen with her tomboyish style is adorable. But after 2 episodes i bailed.

I predict a box office dud, they are overestimating the fanbase. Just look at how hard Serenity bombed.
Lupuss
Yeah but Serenity had a sci-fi theme. A Veronica Mars movie would get a broader audience I think.

VMars was great. I'm not normally into the steretypical teen sort of drama, but the show was fantastic, both in the sense that it was good AND unbelievable.
The Gunslinger
No offense Sammy but If Andrew says it is a great show I'm prob gona check it out because we have pretty similar interests. You may want to give it another shot because most good shows grow exponentially from their first few episodes.

plus I'd watch Kristin Bell do pretty much anything.
