The opposite is true of my father, he's had a moustache for 40 odd years but for some reason decided to shave it off one year when we went on holiday to France. I was 16 and when I saw him I burst into tears It actually ruined the holiday and I refused to be seen in public with him because he looked like a child molester.

Over the years I've pretty much come to terms that I'm in a huge minority here.
