Chit Chat
General on topic discussions. Intelligent discussions on obvious topics.
By on topic - that does not mean, on topic for the first few pages and then falls away into general chaos and anarchy.
Every post should be on-topic and adding to the flow of the thread, or it will be deleted and you will be warned. Subsequent offences will result in a 1 day revocation of your posting abilities, and an increase in your warning level.
If you can not follow these rules after having your rights suspended once, you will recieve a 7 day suspension from the site and an increase in your warning level.
If you continue to be a douche and are un-able to grasp the concept of the posted rules and the warnings given, you will be given a 14 day account suspension and an increase to your warning level.
Any further offences will be forwarded to The Zot and Father Ted for consideration of further action.
Examples of threads that should have been posted in Chit-Chat
It's my emocratic right. - Happy obviously wanted serious opinions and discussion - in the future these types of threads should be posted in Chit Chat in order to keep the discussion flowing.
Recipe Time - not exactly a discussion - but hardly a place you want to see posts like "I had a sammich once it was good" This thread was obviously started for a reason - and it wasn't to find out how retarded you are.
HomeComming 2005 - again - a pointed conversation with obvious direction...
Threads that should be posted in Community -
Birthday threads, joke threads, "What happened to..." threads - light hearted threads where you really don't care about getting a serious answer, polls of a non serious topic.
Can threads in community develop and become quality informative threads - of course - The difference is, you will not get warned or suspended if you chose to go off topic there. This does not mean you should only post your discussions in community to avoid being affected by the rules - if I see it is a genuine discussion I will move it to Chit Chat. Community should only be threads that are about or involve the whole community.

Once again - Rules for Chit Chat posting:
Post on topic discussions
If you go off topic, be sure to include a comment that adds to the current discussion as well.

I have changed some verbage and some spelling. I think they are pretty straight forward.
If I could have added a caveat in there for the mod's I would have - every single thread in chit chat that has gone off topic has been started by a mod. If I could ban you for this I would because I am tired of it. I don't shit in your forums and I do not expect you to do so in mine.
