What's up TJNR members! I'm trying to be a good noob and make a good intro but from the looks of things it's tough to impress you guys, but I'll give it a stab.
First, about my name. I wanted to be Rocky but that's already taken so I threw a "fromthacoldchi" on it since I live in the Chicago area and it just gets damn cold here. At least I can cheer on the White Sox while I freeze my buns off. Rocky is just a name I've always used for forums, online games, etc. and stems from my appreciation of the Rocky movie series.
So enough about that, I stumbled on this site from a link and looked around and it looked like an awesome forum and I wanted to join so I could hopefully add some intelligent comments every now and then to the threads.
I have alot of interests other than the typical crap people post (music, internet, scantily clad women). I proud to play the manly sport of golf at my college and spend a lot of my time with that. I also like working on and modifying cars when I have some time--which isn't often with a couple jobs and being a full-time student.
I probably will end up making a good portion of my posts in the computers and electronics sections. And if I get really brave, I might even post some pictures in the babes section AFTER doing extensive research to make sure that they aren't already there and/or old pictures that no one cares about. I'd love to see a cars thread here, but I'm a noob so no one probably cares what I think. Maybe I'll bring it up again after contributing worthwhile posts and threads for a few months.
Anyways, that's about it. I'm going to go make a witty Avatar and Signature to further gain approval from the TJNR gods and start posting so long as I'm not banned within the next few minutes. Thanks everyone!
