He may well be able to freely travel to New Orleans one-way after that performance.

I wonder if the power plant blowing up in Connecticut is tied to the amount of snowfall or power demands out that way.

It got down to 8, but the average is in the 30's for the winter. When i lived in Reno it got down to the negs, and here in the Central Valley of the Welfare state it got down to 11 and killed my gooseberry bushes.

I love me some gooseberries.

Today started with four hours of snow shoveling. It would have been worse but I cleared 6 or so inches Friday night. Saturday I just let it go. Ugh.

Now if only they`d clear the street.

Yeah right.

Be careful what you wish for. That huge berm of packed snow that winds up at the foot of your driveway is the worst part of snow shoveling.

I blame global warming.

P.S. All weather people on TV consider it a temporary job on their way to being discovered. True Story™.

Well, not like this it doesn't. I didn't measure but I think 30+ inches has been reported and we're getting another foot or so tomorrow. I've been dug out and driving around since Saturday.

Maryland has different hazards than other places. Someone smarter than me described some kind of snow to liquid ratio... all said and done we end up with really wet snow that turns to ice very quickly. Then we have a ton of people from all over the world living here who already can't drive for shit trying to make their way around on the ice. It's quite ridiculous. The state is simply unprepared to move that much accumulation. I just dropped off a friend of mine at her house and nobody had even plowed her street, which sucks, because due to the fact that I couldn't park anywhere I was then unable to plow her... Maybe some other day, she did say she owes me "big time".

I don't understand how weather guys think a performance like that is okay.

It's humid as balls down there. Florida winters are brilliant but summer is a hot steel tank of bitch.

I'm 28 - and that was a first.

How much snow did you guys get Aez? Are you guys getting more? We have a snow warning until tomorrow morning - it has been snowing pretty consistantly.

We got two feet. It's coming down pretty heavy right now, started about two hours ago. We're supposed to get another 10-12".

Honestly, I'm loving it. My truck's loving it too. I pulled two people out of snow banks on Sunday and I've been giving people rides like crazy.

My only complaint is my aching back. I'm only 25 for shit's sake. I should be able to shovel snow for a few hours without being completely immobile the next day.
