he can get one on ebay the way I did. i got the 399 version for 425. I see the average is 500 though.Ok, a buddy of mine is looking to buy an Xbox 360 (The $399.99 one with the hard drive, etc...) He didn't pre buy it, so the lame ass can't find it anywhere now. So, is anyone here selling one? He's willing to pay a little more to get it ASAP.

It's mostly just the fact that it's being released before christmas and that MS has learned how to do the "oops we have a production shortage" thing that Sony has down great. Some stores are only getting like 10 systems on launch day..
I know I'm waiting..fuck this.

But if you want to by one and have a little bit of time on your hands. Go to stores like Sam Goody and Wherehouse and other places that sell games, but aren't thought of as game stores. The problem is that each store on gets a few, but they are usually still there, because most people don't even know that these places sell games.

The point of the game (The Game) is to forget The Game. The second you remember The Game, you lose. Then there is a 5 minute grace period after someone loses, to forget about The Game. The person that lost is out of The Game for 30 minutes, then rejoins. There is no avoiding The Game, because once you know the rules, you play The Game for life.

Supposedly very bad. The Xbox 360 release is "worldwide". That's Asia, Europe, and US. The Xbox 360s are going to be spread thin.Nah, I'll wait for Halo 3 or Gears of War. Whichever comes first.

Screw Microsoft, I'm going straight for the PS3 when it gets released. Microsoft is EVIL!
FUCK THAT!
My PS1 and PS2 broke before the class action lawsuits on both. So i had to pay $75 in 97 (I think it was 97, i can't remember) and $85 in 2001 to get them fixed. I will never buy a first generation Sony system again. I game hard and a hell of a lot. And Sony can't hang with real gamers.
I'll get the revolution the day it comes out. And wait for the price to drop on the Xbox 360 before i buy it. And wait longer still for a second generation/revamped PS3.

PS2 had playback problems. Xbox cords and power supplies would overheat and cause small burns on childrens' hands.Every first gen system has problems. Xbox had playback issues and power cords catching fire if I'm not mistaken.
